(More customer reviews)I just received it yesterday so I don't have a lot of experience with it yet but I will give you first impressions. First, it gives you three options for the amount of tilt. This could be a strip which would give you an infinite number of setting rather than selecting one of the three preset angles. This would also give it a cleaner look. Secondly, the case uses a snap to secure it closed and also two snaps to secure the bracket stand flat to its body. Snaps require proper alignment and a high amount of pressure to secure it. Velcro is much easier to use. Plus the two snaps to secure the bracket are located near the keyboard and I hate to push down on the bracket knowing I am also pushing down on the area of the keyboard. Velcro would have eliminated it.
The workmanship is excellent. The unit is held in securely and I feel it will do what it is suppose to do by saving the kindle from damage when I throw it into my briefcase. I do however think that when the case is closed, it looks too busy with its three port windows for setting the angle of the Bracket and the bracket itself and the cutouts for the speaker grills.
It will satisfy you as a functional unit but some tweaks will make it even better.
