(More customer reviews)The case is padded enough to protect the Kindle but not too bulky---unlike the larger leather cases, I can easily fit this into my relatively small purse. The zipper pouch is big enough for the charger to go into, and because it is zipped things don't fall out. You also could use the separate zipper pouch to slip in a lipstick, small set of keys, plane tickets, credit cards, cash or whatever. For the price, I think this was a great buy. Protects my Kindle just fine from the normal everday scratches etc. It's also attractive (and washable) but it would probably NOT be as good or efficient as the bulkier (and much more expensive) leather case in absorbing big falls or impacts.
FOUR-MONTH FOLLOWUP: Still love it! It is much handier and more compact than the bigger cases, and so far has protected my Kindle very well. A very good buy---very pleased, especially for the price.
