(More customer reviews)This case is exactly as described although there is a strong plastic smell as well as a more subtle leather smell. I think this will dissapate with time.
The cover flips back and the flap clicks closed for easy reading. The plastic protector cover for the Kindle screen left a sticker mark on the top left corner that I couldn't remove. It was an annoyance and made the top look bad so I just took off the plastic film and threw it away(which was too bad).
