(More customer reviews)I got this as a gift after adding it to my wishlist stratigically just before my birthday. Its a wonderful case. I had been weary about the Amazon Kindle Leather Cover (Fits 6" Display, Latest Generation Kindle) which I had got when my Kindle was purchased. I know a few people who have had the brackets break, crack their device, and cause serious damage to their Kindles. Im a paranoid person so that was not something I wanted to have happen. When taking off the leather cover I found scratches from the device which only reaffirmed my belief in being paranoid. When this cover arrived I was thrilled. The design is sturdy and lightweight. The leather has a nice feel about it, and out of all the designs they sell in this case it was by far my favorite. The antique map is so pretty and gives the case an elegance I hadnt seen in many covers. The zipper is strong without being too firm and even has loops for a lock if wanted. The memory foam is good quality. The case had a bit of an odor to it, but letting it air out for two days corrected that. I bought a Amazon Kindle 2 Silicone Skin Case Gel Cover - Clear to go over my Kindle as well for added protection. The device fits right inside the CaseCrown case along with the silicone skin with no issues. There were also complaints about the device slipping around in the CaseCrown case, and the skin gets rid of this issue by creating a snugger fit. The straps that hold the device into place are nice. The bottom right strap does cover the back button by the direction stick, but I seldom use that back button, so it doesnt bother me in the least. My only complaint about the case is that the top two straps that hold the device in are plastic instead of the elastic that the bottom ones are. I can imagine that this is for a snugger fit, but Im not too fond of it. The top left plastic strap covers the on/off switch a bit, so while in the silicone skin, if I had large fingers I would have a doozy of a time turning the device on and off. Its not something that will annoy me too much, but it might annoy other people and I can imagine it will slowly wear out that strap. We will just have to see how quickly it wears out. By then I will probably want a change anyway. I am already recommending it to everyone I see with a Kindle, because I really feel that this is a great case!
