I made the decision to purchase this case based on it's design. I really liked the idea of being able to stand my Kindle on the dinner table or counter so that I could read while working or eating. When I first opened the box, I carefully looked over the case to make sure the stitching and quality of the case was acceptable. It is. The stitching is uniform and even with no loose threads and the leather is quite nice for the price point. My Kindle fits perfectly and is nicely protected. The best part is how the case functions. With the Kindle in the case it stands perfectly, right out of the box. The leather does not need to be broken in for it to function as promised - a huge plus! The magnetic closure folds away while in the flat reading position and when fully closed, the case will not come open on it's own. I have only one gripe (and it's far out weighed by the case's attributes), the case crowds in on the right side of the 5-way control making it a little awkward to click. I have to make sure my finger misses the leather while pushing down on that side. For me, it's not an issue but for others, I thought you might like to know.
