(More customer reviews)I have had this case for around a week now and I have been impressed with the quality and looks. The kindle is held fairly secure, but having the zipper to close it up securely guarantees that it won't fall out - when I read I'm not jostling it around, so I don't worry to much about it. The zipper functions smoothly, and the "lip" at the bottom for the zipper is easy to push aside for charging and turning on, etc. The pocket on the inside is a thin plastic, but I'm not packing it with anything anyhow, so I don't mind. I find it to be a very atractive and functional case, especially for the price.
Now why this isn't a "5-star": the case has a very chemical smell that is still moderately strong even after a week. I don't mind it being faux leather, but possibly some glue used in the manufacturing is resulting in the smell. I imagine it will go away eventually, but I couldn't even sleep with it on my night stand for the first couple of days. Maybe an afternoon in the sunlight would help it out.
